Last December 2-3, 2022, the Stella Maris Academy of Davao celebrated its 69th foundation day onsite with the theme, \u201cTaos pusong pasasalamat sa Iyo, Ama!\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The program started in the SMAD Sky Gym and thereafter the students began exploring the booths prepared by the Supreme Student Government and a few of the chosen students. Some of the booths prepared are as follows: photobooth, music and dedication booth, cupid\u2019s cup of advice, movie booths, face painting, snooping Marisians, and of course, karaoke for both students and the teachers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Moreover, the Junior High School Glee Club and the chosen students from Senior High School, prepared a live band session to entertain the students and teachers while they were playing and having fun with the booths. The Junior High School Dancers\u2019 Guild and some of the Grade 10 students have also prepared their own intermission number while using their talent for dancing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hence, the school filled with fun and entertainment as it celebrated the two-day foundation day after 2 long years of pandemic. Furthermore, the school held a Thanksgiving Mass last December 7, 2022 to launch its 70th Founding Anniversary. As the institution continues to strive and provide Christian Education to children and live with the values of Saint Candida Maria de Jesus, may God sustain the blessings He has provided for the SMAD community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
